Hello, I am Ambar, founder of @dopegamingsetup, a global team of visual artists and interior designers. It‘s a pleasure to get an opportunity to test ADATA products. The nature of my work involves things like CGI and 3D modeling, which require high-performance PC specifications, from DRAM, SSD to graphics card.

Before, I was using a GTX laptop with 8GB DRAM and encountered noticeable lag and occasional crashes due to overheating. With ADATA’s DRAM and SSD, I now have soother and more reliable performance for designing and creating.

I have been lucky enough to work with Adata's products for some time now and they make my everyday life a lot easier. I have so much storage on the Adata HM 800 with 8TB and no longer have to worry about which versions of my designs I want to keep. I can easily keep all my working versions. And most importantly, in one place. Before, I needed multiple hard drives and had to write down which files I stored on which one. Also, large Photoshop files are no longer a problem because after I finalize my design, I can easily move the file to my external hard drive so it doesn't weigh down my computer any further.

For me as a designer, it's especially great that the products are so high quality and finished with attention to detail. The special highlight of my SE900G is the glowing RGB pattern that shines when the 2TB external hard drive is in use. Especially for me as a color lover, this is particularly nice to see!

And last but not least, I would also like to point out that all the products I get to test are absolutely silent. I have never had external hard drives that were quiet. Even while I'm transferring files, the hard drives stay quiet as a mouse. That's an absolutely huge plus, because I've always found it annoying about other products that they sound like someone is mowing the lawn.

My name is Caroline Kjellberg and I'm a Danish freelance animator and motion designer with a passion for mixed media cel animation, rotoscoping and quirky character design. I've been living, working and exploring in five different countries spread across the globe for longer periods of time as an expat through the past 8 years with clients such as Calvin Klein, Adobe, Universal Music, Domestika and Visit California. I've been used to working from my Macbook and Ipad Pro all this time on everything from a beach to a mountain top, and with projects varying from music videos and concert visuals to logo animations, website gifs and company explainers it's been tricky at times with rendering bigger motion projects and I've even had to limit myself creatively for this reason. It's a choice and a lifestyle of course, but since I've now moved back to my home country, Denmark, and finally have a proper base with a studio, it's been a tremendous gift and upgrade in my life to add ADATA's products to my work routine. Now I have more than enough storage and absolutely NO problem with rendering heavy motion projects for clients along with storage for all of my tutorial footage from the creative processes all thanks to the 8TB External HDD and 2 TB External SSD. Now I can also finally start experimenting with heavier plug-ins and effects. Your girl over here is STOKED! Beyond recommendable!
